Do I need a reservation?

What is required to book a stay?

A deposit equal to one standard nightly rate is required. This is part of our campground reservation policy and helps secure your stay.
When is the remaining balance due?

The remaining balance is due upon arrival at the campground.
What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days prior to your reservation, in line with our campground cancellation policy.
What happens if I don’t show up for my reservation?

“No-show” reservations will be charged to the card on file based on our campground deposit policy.

Tent & lux camping
Do I need to bring my own gear for tent camping?

Yes. Tent sites are traditional camping sites, so you’ll need to bring your own gear. This is one of the most common tent camping Michigan questions we receive.
Lux tents are fully set up before you arrive and offer a more comfortable, no-setup way to stay. Located along the edge of Dumont Lake, they feature water views, easy beach access, and a more elevated camping experience with added comfort. They also include rechargeable LED lights, a the multi-function fan station and charging stations.

Dumont Lake is an all-sports lake, well-suited for swimming, boating, and fishing. At Dumont Lake Family Campground, you have direct access to the water, including private beach frontage and boating docks. We offer clean restrooms, updated showers, and easy access to Dumont Lake, including private beach frontage and boating docks. The campground also includes on-site laundry, an upgraded clubhouse, fishing ponds, recreational areas, and activities like kayaking, paddleboarding, basketball, volleyball, cornhole, and disc golf. These amenities are designed to keep your stay simple, comfortable, and centered around time on the lake.
